What is Titanium Drusy?

Drusy (also spelled Druzy) has become one of the most sought after gemstones. Some of the top jewelry designers are winning awards featuring this magnificent stone in their creations.

Drusy is crated by a natural process. When ground water, carrying dissolved silica, enters the porous areas of the rock it causes the formation of tiny crystals on the surface of the stone resulting in a sparkling beauty.

These sensational, unique Drusy stones can be enhanced by coating them in a vacuum with titanium. During the process the titanium bonds with the mineral bursting forth an awesome rainbow of colors. This color is actually a metal coating that is permanent. They are usually shades of blue, purple and iridescent white.
